The Syrah brings the spicey freshness of the heights of Corbière on the nose and the attack. The Merlot from Bergerac embellishes the complex red fruits and brings volume to the blend. The lightly extracted Cabernet Franc adds length to the finish. Slow fermentations and nine months of maturation in three to five year old barrels give a deep overall balance and wonderful concentration. This wine pairs fantastically with food.
